Trouble finding life sciences teaching faculty?

I have been asked to find 3-4 instructors for fall 2022 to replace a few recent departures. We’ve posted on the typical employment pages and I’ve emailed regional PhD program directors looking for recent grads. I am running out options as August looms. Obviously I am trying to avoid asking my colleagues to overload after the last few years. Any advice on how to find some teachers? It’s not a bad place to work, but the pay is only 50k for a 9-month contract, 16 contact hours each semester (3 lectures, 2 labs and some advising). The well appears dry here in the southeast/mid-atlantic.
